My path to 'The Heart of Japan'
My journey to becoming an author took root during a memorable trip to Japan with my husband, our son, and his young family.
I began sharing our experiences in short stories for my writers' group back in New Westminster, British Columbia. It soon became clear that these stories were more than just anecdotes; they formed the foundation for what would become 'The Heart of Japan'.
A passion for culture and language
My passion lies in exploring culture and language. As a speaker of French, German, and Spanish, I've had the privilege of travelling extensively throughout Europe, the Americas, and Asia.
Japan, in particular, captured my imagination with its fascinating blend of modernity and tradition.
In 'The Heart of Japan,' I share my experiences as a new grandmother, eager to understand the country where my reserved daughter-in-law grew up, hoping to strengthen our bond and gaining profound insights along the way.
